Angela Reid, Co - Chair for Urban Agriculture, joined us towards the end of our Meeting and let us know a little about Architecture for Humanity in Toronto and their willingness to assist in building design and expansion planning in exchange for possible use of a greenhouse shelf and using the space to occasionally hold meetings. http://architectureforhumanity.org/

The following is a summary of community feedback that was collected via email and one meeting. This feedback was provided to Councillor Pantalone, Parks and Recreation, and the television production company proposing the greenhouse. A full listing of verbatim feedback is attached below the summary.
1. General Comments
• Many people in the community are very excited about the green house
• People wish that the community had been consulted earlier, particularly because Parks and Recreation expects the community to manage the green house like a community garden.
• The community will not be prepared to take “ownership” of the green house or the plants within it on Jan. 25th, when shooting is complete. The community needs more time to come up with a management plan.
Attached are the meeting minutes from the Spring General Meeting, which took place at the Recreation Centre on April 17, 2007.
