Regarding Parks as Temporary Dump Sites

How do you feel about parks being used as temporary dump sites? The Friends of Trinity Bellwoods encourage you to email our Councillor (councillor_pantalone@toronto.ca) and Peter Leiss, Parks Supervisor (pleiss@toronto.ca), and voice your concerns and/or alternatives in regards to Trinity Bellwoods Park and all City Parks being used as temporary dump sites.

Welcome to the Friends of Trinity Bellwoods Park community website!

Friends,

This website has been designed for you and will depend on you.

We hope it will become an essential tool for you in how you use our park.

Through it we will be able to communicate in many ways.

On the front page, you will always see the latest news and notices, as well as a calendar of upcoming events and other fun items. Click on the title of any story and you will be able to bring up the whole article. On most stories, you will be able to add your own comments for all to see, (once you are registered). Please share your thoughts with us and the rest of the Friends.

What is the Green Space Committee?

The Green Space Committee is a group of community gardeners, dedicated to caring for the green space in Trinity Bellwoods Park. Each year, we organize Spring and Fall Park Days to encourage everyone in the community to participate in a day of weeding, mulching and planting. Through ongoing community meetings, we have developed short, medium and long term goals for the landscape of the park.

How can I support the Green Space Committee?
