Meetings reminder - Friends Winter Meeting & Open House info for Path Upgrades in Park this Wed.

Hello Friends of Trinity Bellwoods Park,

Happy Winter. This is a reminder of two meeting this Wednesday FEB. 24th at the Rec Centre – and yes, you could do both!

4-8pm – City of Toronto is holding an Open House for the public to learn more about the ‘proposed multi-use path upgrades’ in the Park - as part of the City wide plan to improve cycling conditions. If you use the park in any way shape or form, this will most likely be the only time/place to get accurate info, ask questions/give input to the planners. Your voice matters and can affect these proposed routes.

Dog Found in Park on Valentine's Day

Hi all, please feel free to pass on this email to anyone that may be able to help reunite dog and owner. Attached is photo of dog. Thank you.

DOG FOUND on Valentine's Day
Found on Queen St. adjacent the park Sunday around 11 a.m. No collar, no tags, no owner in sight.
She's a Jack Russell cross, white with brown floppy ears, scruffy, a little chubby, very friendly, smart (but not so smart she can find her own way home:) This is a lovely dog whose owners must be beside themselves. If this your dog or it looks familiar and you know who the owner might be, please contact:
Rob Labossiere by phone 416 537-0466 or email admin@klooj.net
I've put some notices up around the park, and also online here:

Friends General Winter Meeting Wed. Feb. 24th, 7-830pm

Please join us for our general winter meeting of the Friends of Trinity Bellwoods Park. Our meeting is from 7-830pm in the Portuguese Women's room on the 2nd floor, by the elevator at TRC. We'll have the regular reports (green house, green space, farmers market etc.) on the agenda and any new things happening. If you would like to add any 'New Business' on the agenda, please contact us at least three days before to include. Also, the Path Upgrade/Bikeways Open House is on from 4-8pm same day. It will be a topic of discussion for the Friends and it will be a good opportunity to hear your thoughts after you have checked it out - they'll be in the big room on the 2nd floor. Agenda is attached just below this paragraph.

All are welcome. Look forward to seeing you!
