Last year the Ontario Association of Food Banks (OAFB) ran a campaign at farmers markets that was very successful. This year it has been expanded from 7 stops to about 25 across the province. Next week they will have a booth and be accepting donations from customers and vendors alike. Donations will be given to the local food bank who will distribute the produce the next day. Please consider buying a little extra and donating it to this worthy cause.
You may find out more about their market tour at, www.buylocalsharelocal.ca
Also...rumours of our blueberry vendor arriving next week!
Thank you.
