Pandemic Circles and the great urban outdoors

If you haven't noticed those circles in the park yet, Trinity Bellwoods is part of a pilot project to assist with physical distancing, They are grids of painted white circles roughly 10-12 feet apart (8 feet in size) across popular areas. Environmentally-friendly athletic field marking paint was used to create the circles. Acuracy courtesy of GPS, and we all thought the staff driver was so skilled!
The circles are large enough for two to three people to sit or recline, but everyone should be from the same household. If the park is crowded and circles are not available, please visit a less crowded park or return later. Near by parks, Stanley Park, Christie Pits Park, Alexandra Park, Bickford Park, Art Eggleton and Dufferin Grove Park. There are also scatterings of litle parkettes to check out - easy excuses to bike around or go for a walk! (photo credit: Bob Whalen)
